SAS Survival, walking in the footsteps of the UK Special Air Service

Walking in the footsteps of the SAS

OUR BASE

Although we do run courses all over the country, our main site is on farmland in south Wales near to the Brecon Beacons. The site offers a mix of field and woodland and has a river making it ideal for running both military style weekends as well as survival courses. Our close proximity to the mountains also gives us easy access for map reading and navigation courses, hill walking courses as well as our endurance events. Moreover, we are ten minutes walk from a very welcoming pub!

THE BRECON BEACONS

The Brecon Beacons are still offer some of the wildest and beautiful vistas anywhere in the British Isles. However, it is not this that the SAS were looking for when they decided to use it as their playground!  Rugged mountains and changing weather patterns make it ideal for outdoor training, walking, map reading, escape and evasion and survival training. This is exactly why we choose to teach here... Easy access from the M5, M50 and the M4 make it the perfect location for everyone in the south of England. Come and see just why we are based here.
